Honda to Expand Sales of Natural Gas Cars

The Associated Press
October 27, 2005

East Liberty, Ohio - It?s been hard to interest American drivers in
buying cars powered by natural gas.

But that could be changing with the big increases in gasoline prices over
the past year.

Honda says it plans to expand sales of the natural gas Civic GX next year
in big cities around the country.

The company makes the car in East Liberty, about 45 miles northwest of
Columbus.

It says it hopes to triple its retail business, from about 500 cars this
year to 15-hundred in 2006.
