The North Pacific Ocean off the coast of Washington State has some of the strongest wind and wave energy in the world.

Over 15,000 MW of clean renewable wind energy, equal to half the energy production of the whole State, could be developed close to Grays Harbor on the coast using offshore wind turbines similar to those now operating in Europe.  Wave energy technology will eventually increase the energy resource even more.

The Grays Harbor Ocean Energy Company has been formed to explore the possibilities to develop this tremendous resource in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner.  The Company is developing as a private-public partnership and is committed to a vision the benefits all sectors of the community.

This website provides objective information about ocean energy and a vision for a new offshore energy industry that provides jobs and supports the economy.  Follow the links at left to learn more.
